Individually rated for:
I had a terrible experience with my 3 month old daughter who was having a fever, as she was just shy of 3 months i was recommended to go to a hospital to be safe. We were admitted quickly and efficiently in the night and was told that she needed tests to find the cause of the fever and whether it was a bacterial infection. I know it is a teaching hospital but all the resident doctors held little confidence when deciding what the next steps were i had to wait for an attending to get a clearer picture which became very frustrating. In addition to going through the nerves of having an unwell infant that was undergoing intravenous antibiotics, spinal taps and blood tests, the nurse mixed up my daughters feeding bottles with another child’s even though they were clearly labelled as if my daughter needed to pick up any other viruses. We were discharged 4 days later with no conclusion and a $3000+ bill, so no i would not recommend this hospital unfortunately. The saving grace is that the nurses and the attendings who i saw little of were extremely pleasant and had excellent bedside manner.
